The annual Jim Prentice-Stephen Ames Charity Golf Tournament for Kids has raised over a quarter million dollars in its first two years. Jim and Stephen split the proceeds and donate the money to their favourite children's charities.
Here, Jim presents a cheque for $10,000 to Gerry Forbes of CJAY 92 for the CJAY 92 Kids Fund, which helps out Calgary's less fortunate families and children with grass roots initiatives such as replacing stolen bicycles, granting special wishes, and building a wheelchair accessible park.
