Jim And Karen Prentice Took Part In The 8th Annual Wing Kei Walk-a-thon In Support Of The Wing Kei Nursing Home Association.
Despite the rainy day, 200 students from the Calgary Chinese Academy joined the families and volunteers in the walk raising money for this worthwhile cause. To date, over $600,000 has been raised for the Centre. The Centre was founded in May 1996, and the Wing Kei Villa was opened in February 1997 in partnership with Bethany Care Centre. It has become the home for many, meeting their unique health requirements.
