Jim had the privilege of presenting checks to four local children's charities on behalf of the Jim Prentice Foundation.

The Foundation was established to distribute Mr. Prentice's share of the proceeds of the Jim Prentice-Stephen Ames Charity Golf Tournament for Kids. In only its first two years the annual tournament has raised nearly a quarter of a million dollars for children's charities.

Jim was joined by Mike Lake, MP for Edmonton-Beaumont-Millwoods, his son Jaden and Dave Mikkelsen, Executive Director, Society for the Treatment of Autism (www.autism.ca). This year's tournament is set for July 3rd at Heritage Pointe.
