Minister Prentice joins the Prime Minister and Myron Thompson, M.P. to Announce a Safer Twinned Trans-Canada Highway in Banff National Park

Prime Minister Stephen Harper was in Banff to announce a $100 million investment to make the Trans-Canada Highway safer, more efficient and have less of an impact on local wildlife.

This Trans-Canada Highway project will twin an additional 14 kilometres of highway west of Castle Junction. When completed, drivers will benefit from the twinning of the entire roadway all the way to Lake Louise.
